Nicalis confirm that NightSky is coming out on the 3DS' eShop.

The Californian based Nicalis is perhaps best known for Cave Story but last year they announced NightSky would be coming to the Nintendo WiiWare service. The game was eventually released for the PC but nothing came of the WiiWare release. However, the company has just confirmed the game is coming to the 3DS.

In a surprise announcement Nicalis tweeted that NightSky "plays really well on 3DS", suggesting the game has moved from WiiWare to the eShop. Several people have since asked them questions and it seems the game will be released prior to the company's next planned eShop release, although exact information is not available at the moment.
