News: Ninja Gaiden Demo Now Available

The ninja has finally come out of hiding! Ubisoft have released a demo of Ninja Gaiden DS onto the Nintendo Channel.
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword for the DS is a very stylus heavy installment in Tecmo's shuriken-slogging series of Ninja Gaiden games. Presented in a lovely 2.5D style, the DS is held like a book, and the game almost entirely controlled with the touch screen. Touch an enemy to lob a shuriken at it, slash it horizontally to cut it with your katana, or do a complicated touch combo to deliver a devastating blow to your enemies. Notable for its difficulty (like the rest of the series), this should be one to watch out for.
If you want to try it out for yourself, the demo is now available to download to your DS from the Nintendo Channel. Featuring one level and three difficulty settings (the first one was brutal enough for us), the demo will be available up until June 26th, the day before it hits Europe.
If you feel like purchasing the title, then Play.com have a rather special preorder bonus which might just entice you into buying the full game...
