News: Nintendo 64 Player

How would you feel if you could use your old Nintendo 64 cartridges on your GameCube?

Just like with the GameBoy Player for the GameCube, the device is described as an adapter that takes the original cartridges (this time Nintendo 64 ones, instead of GameBoy or GameBoy Advance) and allows you to run the games on your GameCube.

Nintendo of America seems to be investigating the economics possibilities for an adapter, since they've opened up a poll on their homepage.

Nintendo's poll asks users whether they would be interested in such a device and (if so) how much they'd be prepared to pay for one.
The five options given might give us a rough idea on the price tag Nintendo was thinking about:
- Very interested, and would pay up to $39
- Very interested, and would pay up to $49
- Very interested, and would pay up to $59
- Not interested at all, and don't own an N64
- Not interested at all, although own an N64
