Nintendo will be broadcasting another of its short 'Direct' conferences shortly after Christmas...

Nintendo has announced the second of its 'Nintendo Direct' broadcasts to be streamed on December 27th.

The first Nintendo Direct was broadcast in October, and featured CEO Satoru Iwata announce online network details for Mario Kart 7, confirm the 3D video recording ability for 3DS and reveal a number of new downloadable games for the eShop.

No clue as to what might be discussed on Tuesday, other than "the latest information on Wii and 3DS", but the pre-recorded video should coincide with the 3DS passing four million sold in Japan, so perhaps we'll get a special announcement to celebrate the milestone.

The conference will be streamed at Nintendo's official Ustream page at Noon Japan time (03:00 GMT)
