We all knew it would happen sooner or later. Australian Nintendophiles have been anxiously awaiting the GameCube phenomena to hit. And it has finally arrived with about a month to go until the GameCube is unleashed into the Australian public.

TV commercials for the GameCube have been airing very frequently for the past week in Australia, in just about every time slot available. And the Gameboy Advance commercials are being aired more frequently. Not only is the coming of the GameCube evident on television, it's just about everywhere you look. There are massive roadside billboards advertising the GameCube through out major cities and advertisments at bus stops across the country.

The Gameboy Advance is getting plently of coverage with the advertising during football matches with huge banners placed in prime positions around most AFL grounds.

Finally, the GameCube has made its precence known to Australia. It's getting more exciting by the day down here!
