The Nintendo Channel launches in the US, bringing with it game trailers, DS downloadable demos and more...

Launched in North America today, the Nintendo Channel is a nifty database of all titles available on the Wii and DS, with full details on each and the chance for you to rate and review Wii titles you've played for more than an hour, so others can see your views as well.

It's full of gameplay videos, trailers, TV ads, and has the much-awaited feature of being able to download DS demos to your DS, which remain there after download until you power off.

The Channel also provides an easier way of accessing Virtual Console and WiiWare titles, with the ability to download them direct from the Nintendo Channel.

It launches on the 30th of this month in Europe - not much longer now!
