Gone are the bongo controllers, and in are the Wii-mote and Nunchuck. From June 5th, gamers in Europe will be able to pick up GameCube title Donkey Kong Jungle Beat all spiffy new and enhanced for the Wii.

You must navigate DK through the jungle, defeating monsters and exploring to build up your banana point score. Swinging the controllers will direct soundwaves at your opponents (something that obviously made more sense when you were using the 'Cube's bongo drums).

Nevertheless, this new version features several new stages, added enemy types plus new bonuses, weapons and other improvements. Think of it like a Director's Cut!

The game is one of the last slated for re-release on the Wii, as Nintendo recently announced the NEW PLAY CONTROL! series would be ending this year.
