News: Nintendo Correct Their Recipe For Disaster

Nintendo have issued a correction for a mistranslated recipe in Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What To Eat? for the DS.

Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What To Eat? has been out in the UK since June now, but Nintendo appear to have only just realised that they made a mistake in one of the cooking trainer's recipes.

The Cooking Guide recipe for Katsudon, which is a Japanese rice and pork dish, urged eager chefs to add 5 tbspns of sugar and 2 tsps of soy sauce to their food in Step 9 of the recipe. The measurements were mistranslated however, and should indicate the use of 2 tsps of sugar and 5 tbspns of soy sauce. Too bad Nintendo didn't issue a response to this before the European kiddy population turned into crazed sugar junkies.

Nintendo have suggested that users attach a memo note to the Katsudon recipe via the touch screen which says something along the lines of 'Sugar and soy reversed in cooking steps'. The error will be fixed in future versions of Cooking Guide.
