March sales figures show healthy hardware numbers for both Wii and DS...
Chart data compiled by NPD shows that in the month of March, Nintendo had the top-selling video-games system in the DS, which moved 508,000 units - a massive amount more than the second place, which just fell to the PS2 with 279,866 units sold, helped by God of War II's massive sales of over 800,000 copies.
Nintendo's Wii was just pipped to the third place post, with 259,000 of the motion-sensitive beauties flying off shop shelves. Microsoft's Xbox 360 wasn't far behind with almost 200,000 units sold, while the PSP only managed 180,000 sold.
And embarrassingly, Sony's PlayStation 3 wasn't even sixth. With 130,000 units sold, it charted seventh, behind the Game Boy Advance, which managed just more - 148,000.
