The GBA has been used to re-release NES and SNES classics, so is the NDS going to do the same for the N64?

The NDS rumour mill is still churning away, with the most recent revelations suggesting that the classic platforming game Super Mario 64 has been shown running on Nintendo's '3rd Pillar' console.

Now, bearing in mind this is just a rumour at the moment, but what with Nintendo's Word Of The Year currently being "let's-re-release-our-classic-games-again!", what with NES and SNES games popping up on the GBA frequently and with Nintendo's most recent patent on emulation, surely this is a predictable step?

The iQue already has Super Mario 64 running (sort of) so it is not impossible, is it?
