News: Nintendo Enters Another Dimension

Bill Oddie, The Saturdays and Graham Hudson help celebrate the Nintendo 3DS' unique stereoscopic possibilities.

In co-ordination with the 3D photography contest that is currently under way, Nintendo is giving fans the chance to take part in a number of events and visit an interactive installation.

During the first two weeks of June gamers can join Bill Oddie in the zoo, dress up with The Saturdays and walk with Dinosaurs alongside Rick Edwards. These outings will provide fans with the opportunity to learn how to take full advantage of the console's camera as well as give ample opportunities to take photos in the themes for the competition; People, Places, Animals, Augmented Reality and Objects.

Members of the public can sign up to join the trips by emailing [email protected] with details about which of the events you'd like to sign up to and their contact details (must be over 18 or accompanied by an adult). The events that have been confirmed so far are as follows:

1st June 2012 - Dress up with The Saturdays (secret location)
13th June 2012: Walk With Dinosaurs With Rick Edwards (Bristol Zoo)
14th June 2012: Street Art Walk With Pure Evil (East London)
15th June 2012: A Trip To The Zoo With Bill Oddie (Battersea Park Zoo, London)

The best of these photographs will then be featured in the 'Another Dimension' exhibition taking place in The Loading Bay Gallery, The Old Truman Brewery in East London (E1 6QL) between July 6th and 8th. Graham Hudson will create a large scale architectural sculpture to house the photographs in so be sure to check it out!
