Nintendo Europe's site is down for "technical modifications". Is this the Wi-Fi site integration gamers have been waiting for? Updated!

Europe is still to see the release of the various languages of Wi-Fi sites (the American site has been up for a while now). European sites are still showing teaser pages, though with the official launch of the Connection in Europe come and gone, the wait surely can't last much longer.

The American Wi-Fi site allows you to tie in your account on Nintendo.com to your Wi-Fi account - perhaps Nintendo Europe is implementing a similar system now? We'll keep you posted.

Update: The site's back now (20:00 GMT), but with no visible changes.
