Nintendo have updated their VIP 24:7 area with hopefully the first of many Wii related additions. Details inside.

With the release of the Wii, several updates to Nintendo of Europe's reward programme have been expected, and it looks like Nintendo are finally getting around to implementing them on their website.

For Nintendo fans who have downloaded Virtual Console games, and even those who have downloaded the Internet Channel, these downloads are now listed in your "Products Registered To Date" on the "Stars and Treasures" page. Clicking the "Details" link next to each will take you to a page thanking you for your download, which also informs you that you will be able to claim Stars for your download "soon".

While there's still no sign of Wii Points being purchasable - something Nintendo have promised which many fans are eagerly awaiting - its good to see Nintendo are working on the Stars Catalogue behind the scenes.
