News: Nintendo Get Miyamoto Gagged

Nintendo have told their own Shigeru Miyamoto to keep mum when discussing his latest hobbies...

Nintendo have told their top game designer to remain silent on his newest hobbies, due to his track record of turning them into multi-million pound games. According to an article in The Times, the company are worried that rival developers will steal his ideas and get developing first.

In the past, his love of puzzles brought us Brain Training, his desire for his family to exercise more brought us Wii Fit, and a new found love of music lessons lead him to dream up Wii Music. Most famously of all perhaps was his past-time of gardening, which lead to the development of Pikmin.

So don't expect Miyamoto to speak publicly about his newest hobby of knitting jumpers any time soon, for fear of Sony copyrighting Sixaxis Knitting Patterns before the Big N.
