Feel that your face isn't good enough? Well Nintendo are there to help you train it and make it even better with the aid of the DSi/DSi XL.
Much like Nintendo's previous 'Trainer' series titles, containing popular titles such as Brain Training and Sight Training, Nintendo have today announced that Face Training will help you to “strengthen and relax six different areas of your face through simple, daily exercises”.
The title was actually due out on the DS years ago and intended to be supplied with a camera, but obviously with the new DSi and DSi XL now containing cameras there is no need and the title has resurfaced for release in September.
The upcoming DSi and DSi XL title has been developed with the help of Fumiko Inudo, a Japanese beautician and specialist in the muscles of facial expression. It intends to help you exercise and improve the general well-being of your face and neck, although doesn't make any explicit claims to make you look younger.
The official press release claims that you can "target the Ocular Muscle with an eye exercise that can help to ease tension around the eyes." The title also promises to help you to "try focusing on some different types of facial and neck muscles such as your Zygomaticus Major - cheek area - Orbicularis Oris - mouth area - or Trapezius - neck muscle to name a few - which could all help you in your task to facial wellness."
Face Training also boasts about its unique ability to offer you the chance to view your face from viewpoints and perspectives unable to be seen using a mirror, so at the very least it should appeal to narcissists. The title has been given a UK release of September 24th so you only have a few weeks to wait before you can be on your way to a better face.
