News: Nintendo is Best Selling Publisher in Japan

The data may only be up until the end of October but that doesn't stop Nintendo from being the biggest publisher of 2010 in Japan.

While November and December are typically the busiest months of the retail calendar Oolongtea 2001, who track daily games sales, are reporting that Nintendo looks set to be the best selling publisher this year.

1UP have translated their report and it would appear that Nintendo are by far outselling every other publisher.

Nintendo have already sold 13 million games this year, 56% for the DS and 44% for the Wii, which is more than the following three companies combined. It is certainly an impressive achievement for Nintendo and hopefully one that will continue over the holiday season.
