News: Nintendo Is On Financial Cloud Nine

Nintendo's market value is worth almost as much as Sony! Check out some big numbers...

Sony is, in terms of market value (not profits or actual money), the biggest consumer electronics company in the world, with a market capitalization worth of 6.64 trillion yen. Wanna know who's now second?

That would be Nintendo, with a market value of 6.3 trillion yen (over $51 billion), which is followed by Matsushita/Panasonic. Why is this a huge deal? Because Nintendo just sells videogames and consoles, while Sony and Panasonic sell all kinds of appliances.

It seems that Wii and DS really do print money!
