News: Nintendo Japan Apologizes

Nintendo is really very sorry. You can probably guess why...

Nintendo has added to their list of Official Apologies, posted on the top page of their website.

Compounding their apology for the unfortunate delay of the DS Lite in Enamel Navy and Ice Blue colours (made on the 24th of February), Nintendo also wanted to express their sincerest regrets for all the shipping and supply difficulties that retailers and consumers have had to endure. Finally, Nintendo wanted to get in a preemptive 'sorry' to Japanese DS users who were eagerly awaiting the company's next wave in their "Touch Generations" line of DS software. Apparently to keep software releases more in tune with new shipments of hardware, Nintendo is delaying their new Japanese dictionary (a sequel of sorts to the Rakubiki Jiten kanji dictionary released last year) and a series of interactive language translation guides (including Chinese, English, Korean, Thai and German). The titles will be rescheduled from late March to mid-to-late April.

Lets hope Nintendo can solve these issues in time for future hardware launches.
