Nintendo of Japan joins Twitter but won't be interacting with Stephen Fry, Lady Gaga or N-Europe unfortunately.

Nintendo has officially joined Twitter, under the username Nintendo, but unfortunately this will simply be an information relaying service according to Andriasang. Unlike the American Twitter account it will simply provide news and updates.
