Prepare for an entire month of Star Wars themed activities and downloads on the Wii!
Following on from an incredibly strong showing at the Nintendo WiiWare/DSiWare Media Summit in London yesterday, Nintendo have quite possibly sealed the deal in claiming your soul for the rest of the year.
LucasArts' early SNES Star Wars games, Super Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back and Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, will be hitting the Virtual Console over the next few weeks. Super Star Wars, the first part of the SNES trilogy which is based on Episode IV of the epic space saga, will be available on the Virtual Console tomorrow, with the others and even more LucasArts classics following suit in the future.
That's not all - LucasArts and Nintendo have really gone for glory with this new partnership, and you can expect all things related to the Force to even infect the Everybody Votes Channel, with Nintendo promising to expect questions such as "Who Shot First - Han Or Greedo?"
Other titles set to hit Nintendo's downloadable services tomorrow include MySims Camera, a nifty little creative app for DSiWare, SEGA classic Golden Axe for Virtual Console Arcade, intriguing WiiWare puzzler Magnetis, and new episodic series for the young 'uns Learning With The PooYoos: Episode 1 for WiiWare.
There's also a new Flipnote called "The Sandwich Twins" available to download or view from Flipnote Hatena, which was created by one of the extremely talented animators over at Aardman.
