Nintendo UK have announced it will officially partner with HMV when it launches the Wii at midnight on 7th/8th December 2006. The action kicks off from 11pm at HMV, 150 Oxford Street, London with the chance for gamers to play launch game Wii Sports against sporting celebrities including Ian Wright, Jodie Kidd, Pat Cash and Ricky Hatton.

Those getting there early enough in the queue will be lucky enough to get their hands on their very own Wii consoles, games and goodie bags (stocks very limited so get there early to avoid disappointment).

In addition, the first 200 people purchasing the Zelda: Twilight Princess for Wii will receive a very special strictly limited edition Twilight Princess tin to store the game. If you're in the area, you've no excuse not to go!
