The latest Wii system update is on its way to your Wii - targeting homebrew content.

In the on-going cat-and-mouse game of Wii homebrew (unauthorised Channels and games not officially sanctioned by Nintendo), Nintendo has fought back once more, pushing out the latest Wii system update to again target those who dabble in such matters.

Wii system update 4.3 is now live worldwide and once downloaded will search for and delete anything it deems an "unauthorised file". The update is optional, but those who do not update will be blocked from accessing the Wii Shop Channel until they do.
