News: Nintendo Reveal Quarter Earnings

Nintendo has seen a drop in profits, with a 78.5% loss of quarterly operating profit reported, due to a lack of big software releases.

Reuters is reporting that Nintendo's profits are down on this time last year due to a decreased demand for the Game Boy Advance and GameCube and a drought of big-name games, though Donkey Konga 2 supposedly helped slightly.

The forecast for the rest of the year is far more rosy however, with profits set to soar once again with the release of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a new GameCube bundle, and the launch of the first online DS titles.
