Nintendo have announced the winners for it's short film competition. Find out who won inside...

Recently, Nintendo held a competition to create a Nintendo-themed short film. Now the judges have decided on the winners. You can watch the top 10 entries here

First place went to the film Good Vs. Weevil by Jack Paccione, Jr., in which two people battle over controlling a third person with their Wii Remote. The entry will be shown at the Tribeca Drive-In Short Film Series at Top of the Rock, at the Observation Deck at Rockefeller Cente (along with the 2 runners up). On top of this, Paccione also will receive a $10,000 cash prize toward his next film, a Wii system, a DS Lite, Nintendo games and a "power lunch" with Tribeca Film Festival co-founder Craig Hatkoff.

2nd Place went to the film entitled Koopa Force by Marc Duddleson, a CGI film in the form of a movie trailer, introducing a large battle between the Koopa Kingdom and the Mushroom Kingdom. 3rd place was for The Nintendo Office by Christopher Preksta, which shows what life could be life if Nintendo characters lived in the Nintendo HQ.
