Nintendo sign a deal with Corgi to produce Nintendo-related merchandise for outside Asia...

Apart from Pokémon, there isn't really much Nintendo merchandise around, unless you live in Japan.

Now, Nintendo have signed a contract with Corgi to produce all kinds or Nintendo-related merchandise, including Action Figures, Playset Environments, FX Electronic Products, Iconic Game Replicas, Multi Sized Plush, Vinyl Figures and more. The deal is for all regions outside Asia, so expect a wave of stuff in Europe. Nintendo promise that the range of products will cater to fans of all ages.

So for all of you who want a huggable Mario or a Morph Ball Bean-Bag, you may get your wish.
