New StreetPass features include a brand new StreetPass Quest!

The November 3DS update will bring an all new StreetPass Quest and more, Satoru Iwata has announced.

StreetPass Quest 2, as we currently seem to be calling it for simplicity, will feature a brand new map, new monsters, and the ability to attack with more than one Mii at a time. It will be playable only by those who have completed the first Quest.

The update also allows you to see where encountered StreetPass Miis are from, by virtue of a handy little map. Not only this, but new Puzzle Swap jigsaws will be made available - the one example given looked like a Donkey Kong puzzle.

The eShop store was also confirmed to be seeing "improvements", but these sound like they might be general and basic, rather than a complete overhaul.

Finally, the ability to transfer 3DS software and data to other 3DS systems will too go live in November.
