The demand for the relaunched Stars Catalogue has been big. So big, in fact, that the Nintendo of Europe site experienced some technical problems - and those of you trying to access those brand new gifts have been greeted by some very long loading times.

Nintendo said they want everyone to be able to access the raft of new gifts - not just those with a fast enough connection to wade through the syrup successfully. So they're temporarily postponing the Stars Catalogue relaunch until they have the hitch fixed.

Nintendo continued saying that those of the people who did manage to purchase a gift with their Stars needn't worry - Nintendo has got the details of every completed transaction, so if you received a confirmation mail, you'll get your prize. And if you missed out, don't fret - after the relaunch, the Stars Catalogue will be updated every week with new gifts. Well over 800 items are on their way, so there are plenty of opportunities to come away smiling.

Nintendo apologises to everyone who turned up and contributed to the spectacular and unprecedented demand on Monday. The company also assures that you won't have to wait too much longer to get your hands on those long-awaited real-life goodies.
