News: Nintendo To Have 46% Market Share By 2012

Analysts Nikko Citigroup seem to thinks it will happen...

Over the years Nintendo was slowly losing it's grip over the video game market, with each passing home console their market share lowered. It seemed like they would never regain the former glory they once had. Then Nintendo announced the Wii, everything changed and Nintendo is taking up its once-dominant global market share once again.

Analyst Soichiro Fukuda of Nikko Citigroup claims that Nintendo will infact gain a lot market share, 46% to be precise compared to the 12% Nintendo had with previous consoles, all by the year 2012. Mr Fukuda also states that Microsoft will have 33% of the market share with Sony making up for the rest.
