News: Nintendo To Show 'Core' Titles At E3

Nintendo have announced that they will indeed be showing off new titles for the 'core' gamer during their E3 2008 conference next month.

Despite a slew of top quality titles from Nintendo since the Wii launched worldwide in 2006, a lot of customers have complained that the Big N are not doing enough to satisfy the 'core' gamer.

Nintendo recognise these concerns, and in an interview with GamePro, Mark Franklin (Nintendo of America's director of PR) stated that the Japanese giant would be revealing "several new titles that core gamers will be interested in" around the time of its E3 conference, to be held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on July 15th.

Speculation is rife that Nintendo may reveal a series revival of Kid Icarus for the Wii, along with many more new titles. Reggie said that we wouldn't be disappointed, and we shall stand by his statement. Perhaps this year's software won't call him overweight.
