This Friday sees the launch of Wii Sports Resort in Europe, and Nintendo UK is inviting you to celebrate...

Nintendo is gearing up for the launch of their flagship Wii MotionPlus title, which hits stores in Europe this Friday. Compatible with the Wii's new accessory which makes the Remote capable of true 1:1 motion controls, the game features twelve sports in a tropical island setting.

To celebrate, Nintendo are throwing a series of parties across the UK and Ireland for people to try out the title and also win a luxury water sports and beach holiday in Halkidiki, Greece. Very nice.

Make sure you head down to one of the following locations this Friday, July 24th:

• London: Game, Oxford Street (9am to 9pm)
• Leeds: Argos, The Gantry, (8am to 8pm)
• Dublin: Smyths, Blanchardstown Centre, (9am to 9pm)
• Birmingham: GameStation, 138 Birmingham New Street (9am to 7pm)
