News: Nintendo Warns Against Kids 3DS Usage

Nintendo are warning parents that children under the age of six should not use the 3D mode of the 3DS.

While Nintendo has previously suggested that the 3DS may be unsuitable for young children they have just confirmed that the 3D function should not be used by children.

A translation by Engadget, amongst others, indicates that Nintendo are warning parents to ensure children under the age of 6 do not use the 3D mode. Nintendo also note that the 3D mode can be turned off within the console's options by concerned parents.

Additionally, Nintendo warn against using the 3D mode for more than thirty minutes at a time due to eye fatigue. As usual any gamers who feel ill should quit gameplay immediately.
