Previously only available in Japan, now available in New York as well!

The black coloured DS (artistically named "Graphite") was only available in Japan up until now. The US has recieved Silver, Dark Blue and the Pink and Light Blue colours which Europe also got alongside the launch of Nintendogs.

But at the Nintendo World Store, you can now purchase the only non-Japanese Graphite DS' in existance, for the moment, anyway. Be warned though, the unit retails for $199.95 - $70 more than other DS consoles.

This seems strange, as if the Graphite DS goes on to be launched publicly in the US, people who payed more at the Nintendo World Store will undoubtedly feel rather cheated. It's unknown at this time if the Graphite DS has anything else with it to justify the high price tag. We'll keep you posted.
