News: Nintendo Worldwide Release Dates

Nintendo outlines when key games are going to be out for the Wii, DS and 3DS around the world.

Nintendo has just released a document that outlines when their software titles will be released around the world. While most of the information is known it is a good way to cross reference release dates across territories.

Some interesting information can be uncovered by looking at the document. For example, while Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 are listed by their new names that were announced yesterday the new Kirby game is still just called Kirby Wii and not Kirby Returns to Dreamland as suggested last week.

The labelling of dates seems to change as the document goes on, and we've listed them as they appear in the document, but we assume 'Holiday', 'Fall' and 'Q4' all mean the same thing essentially. Interestingly Pokémon Rumble Blast has been given dates for Japan and America but isn't mentioned at all for Europe so it could be a while before we see that, or it could just be they haven't thought that far ahead. There is a chance that either the document is somewhat old or Nintendo of Europe decide release dates independent of Nintendo of Japan as Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 is listed as Q4 2011 but Nintendo of Europe announced an October 7th release date this week.
