Prepare to see your lovable Nintendogs + Cats in the real world.

The furry friends that populate your Nintendogs + Cats game will no doubt be cute enough that you would want to see them in the real world and thankfully you can do just that. It has been announced that the upcoming 3DS title will make use of the system's Augmented Reality feature.

Through using the Augmented Reality cards that come with the console proud pet owners will be able to project their pets into the real world. Not much is known about exactly how it will be utilised but hopefully more details will emerge at Wednesday's 3DS events in Amsterdam and New York.
