Yoshi's Clash of the Tongues in Lizard Lick, North Carolina highlights the best known trait of Yoshi, the star of Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, his tongue. On Saturday, September 28, the people of Lizard Lick will be putting their tongues to the test and a panel of judges will determine who has the Lengthiest Lick, the Most Imaginative Lick, the Most Daring Lick and eventually The Ultimate Licker.

Yoshi, a dinosaur, and Nintendo felt it was only appropriate to celebrate with Yoshi's distant cousins in Lizard Lick to mark the release! Locals of Lizard Lick and nearby towns can exercise their glossal gift.
