News: Nintendo's online denial

Just for the record, Nintendo Europe have denied that the Cube will get wired next March. More inside.

NOE contacted Cube Europe concerning the 'GameCube online' announcement last week. A senior Nintendo executive let slip to a Swedish online fanzine that the Cube would head online 14th March 2003 - but Nintendo have stated that no plans are in place as of yet.

Nintendo's PR insists that they are not ready to announce anything concrete concerning online matters just now. We'll keep you posted.
