In an interview several months back Shigeru Miyamoto said that Nintendo's new second party developer was making Wario World. At the time it was not known who that was but today it has been announced that Treasure are making the game.

Treasure's previous games include upcoming acclaimed Ikaruga and the Japan-only N64 game Sin and Punishment. There are no official comments at present.
