Well its been on again and off again more times then a lot of TV couples but it seems that the E-Reader will not be coming to Europe.

For over a year there has been mixed responses to "Will Europe get the E-Reader?" Nintendo have been stating yes, then no, then yes again and now it seems they're sticking with no.

"We won't launch E-Reader in Europe,"Shelly Pearce, head of PR stated. "We don't think the market potential is great enough to launch the product in Europe - however we will make the downloadable elements that cards provided available via different routes."

While they state that the content will become available in other ways no details yet. Which leaves a big question mark on Animal Crossing, a game that relies on the cards.
