Nintendo decides against reducing the price of the GameCube any further, despite new cuts from Sony and Microsoft.

You may have heard that both the PS2 and Xbox will be the beneficiaries of slashed prices, but Nintendo has apparently decided that the GameCube is cheap enough already. Nintendo's European PR department was quick to announce that the big N plans to stick with its 99.99 euro price point for the Cube.

Don't fret too much as the GameCube will remain at a significantly lower price point than the systems offered by Sony and Microsoft which now clock in at roughly at 155 and 150 euros respectively.
