Because blood in games is bad...

Earlier in the year, publishers Rising Star Games announced that they would distribute No More Heroes within Europe. The game developed by Suda 51 has now officially been confirmed to be censored just like the Japanese version of the game. When Rising Star Games got asked if this was due to the Manhunt 2 situation, they answered with a "Maybe".

But fans aren't taking this sitting down. Ever since the announcement of the game being censored, ouraged fans have started and signed petitions in the hope of getting the game uncensored as it should be. Also many fans have been e-mailing Rising Star Games after visiting their site. When viewing the "About Us" setion, it offered an e-mail address for fans to send them messages on what they think they can do better and people have been doing exactly that.
