News: No More New Play Control

Nintendo announce they won't be releasing any more "Wii-makes" of GameCube titles...

After their announcement last Autumn, the New Play Control! series of re-released GameCube titles for the Wii will reportedly be scrapped after the June releases of Metroid Prime 2 and Chibi Robo.

The series has also seen Pikmin and its sequel, the original Metroid Prime, Mario Power Tennis and Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat released with new Wii-mote enabled control schemes.

No more titles are now expected to be updated by Nintendo. Good move? Bad move? Let us know your thoughts below...
