For the second year in a row Nintendo will not hold a press conference at GamesCom in Germany.

GamesIndustry.biz has learned today that Nintendo has once again opted out of hosting a press conference at GamesCom, an annual gaming convention that will take place in Germany at the end of the month. While Nintendo will have a booth at the event they will not host a press conference.

Presumably Nintendo are waiting until September 29th for their own conference during which they will announce the price and release date of the 3DS, as announced last week.

While Microsoft are finalising their plans for the event Sony have typically used the show to unveil and outline new products, such as the PS3 Slim last year.
