Despite what rumours have been saying, Nintendo is refusing to go beyond their "2005" for the new Legend of Zelda.

Ever since the GDC's Zelda trailer was amde available to the masses, the rumour mill has undeniably gone into overdrive on the title. While a Q4 release is quite likely, there have been attempts to narrow down the launch down further. Says Nintendo, these are baseless:

We haven't announced any potential release dates for the new Legend of Zelda title. Everything published to date is entirely speculation and we hope to announce more about the game at E3 in May."

We should see a less vague release date at E3 then.
