Nintendo confirm their summer games show will be absent for another year...

What with so much about the Wii still to be revealed - pricing, release dates, launch lineup - many fans expected Nintendo to announce all these details at a SpaceWorld event in the next few months. The summer SpaceWorld used to be an annual affair, though Nintendo have chosen not to hold one for several years now.

Nintendo of America's public relations manager Matt Atwood confirmed the news, though fired up another round of speculation at the same time - though this time about Super Mario Galaxy. Asked whether the plumber's epic new 3D adventure would be available at launch, he said "Anything is possible."
