Nintendo of America has hired Cynthia Gordon as their new Corporate Affairs VP.

In October 2009 Denise Kaigler announced that she will be leaving Nintendo of America to join 38 Studios. Her position has now been filled by Cynthia Gordon, who has over 20 years experience in public relations and consumer experiences.

Gamesutra report that Ms. Gordon will work at Nintendo of America's Redwood City office reporting directly to Reggie Fils-Aime, who is currently filling the position of Sales and Marketing EVP following Cammie Dunaway departure.

"Cindy brings a wealth of smart, strategic brand experience to our team," says Reggie Fils-Aime. "As we prepare to launch our new Nintendo 3DS system on March 27, her expertise will help keep our momentum going strong through the rest of the year."
