Nintendo never say "never" apparently, but they do say "not now".

During the last week American gamers have been campaigning to get a number of Wii titles released in America. They are hoping that Xenoblade Chronicles, Pandora's Tower and The Last Story will get released and have written letters, pre-ordered the title on Amazon and bombarded Nintendo of America's Twitter and Facebook pages.

Nintendo promised an update on the situation in response to the campaign and here it is:

Thank you for your enthusiasm. We promised an update, so here it is. We never say "never," but we can confirm that there are no plans to bring these three games to the Americas at this time. Thanks so much for your passion, and for being such great fans!

Not quite the update people were hoping for we're sure. For now it seems the only way to get Xenoblade Chronicles is to import the European version but as for The Last Story and Pandora's Tower we'll have to wait and see.
