Nintendo of Europe are planning on some changes to the Stars Point System, and once again promise something "soon"...

Members of the German Nintendo of Europe site have been receiving emails highlighting new details for the star points system on their site. Members will have until the 15th July to accept the new conditions, or their account will be removed.

The new star points system will have "degradable" stars. Once registered, the stars will stay in your account for 2 years, then be removed. For the stars we have registered before the new conditions kick in, those stars will be removed after the 1st of June 2009.

There hasn't been much in the stars catalogue recently, but Nintendo of Europe promise that we will be able to buy Wii Points with our stars soon. Which is what they have been saying since the Wii launched.
