News: Nolan Bushnell To Receive Top BAFTA

Creator of Pong and father of video games, Nolan Bushnell will be inducted into the BAFTA Fellowship for this year's awards.
It has been announced that entrepreneur and founder of Atari Inc, Nolan Bushnell will receive the highest honour at the video game BAFTA awards this year.
Bushnell, who was the creator of Pong and credited by many with kickstarting the video game revolution, was also named of of Newsweek's '50 Men who Changed America'. On receiving news of his induction, Bushnell stated:
"I am humbled to be selected for this honour from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. The British people are not only great game players but have historically been some of the best game creators. The pub culture and country house drawing room environments have been instrumental in spawning games and game players through the centuries. I am very grateful to receive an award from the people with a history of creating and embracing this type of entertainment."
The GAME British Academy Video Games Awards - to be hosted by Dara O'Brien - will commence on March 10th at the London Hilton.
