UK Nintendo magazine N�Revolution is to close, with the Wii and DS' increased focus on casual gaming blamed.

Magazine publisher Imagine's DS and Wii focused monthly magazine will no longer be seen on UK shop shelves. The publisher's managing director Damian Butt explained the publication would fold due to the magazine's "core" gamer readership losing interest in Nintendo's increasingly "casual" gamer focus:

"The decision to suspend N�Revolution has been taken because it has become increasingly obvious that Nintendo's strategy for Wii and DS is no longer in line with Imagine Publishing's target readership, and has moved increasingly away from the hardcore gaming community that is our specialty."
