Capcom's Hideki Kamiya explains why he was disappointed with Nintendo's latest entry into the Legend of Zelda series.

The Creator and Director of the Playstation 2 smash hit Okami has recently hit out at Nintendo's latest masterpiece, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Hideki Kamiya recently spoke at the Media Arts Festival in Japan and explained: "To be frank, I was disappointed when I saw [Twilight Princess'] visuals."

He later went on to say: "I'm a Zelda freak - it's no overstatement to say that I created Okami because of Zelda. I really wanted [Twilight Princess] to have that regal aura, because Zelda was what we were aspiring to. I wanted it to show me things that were surprising, but..."

So, he redeems himself by saying that Zelda was his inspiration for Okami, but he stills seems pretty disappointed with the visuals. Of course, as the saying goes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." One man's masterpiece is another man's junk. Have your say below.
